Jason is Founder & CEO of Meath Media Group and a 20+ year veteran of politics and television. He is Executive Producer of Michelle Malkin Investigates (CRTV), an award-winning investigative series currently in its second season. In 2016, Jason wrote and directed the film which predicted the Donald Trump Presidential victory, Switchers: An American Uprising (Movement Films). He also produced and directed videos for the 2016 Republican National Convention and the 2017 Presidential Inauguration which played during President Trump's historic inauguration on dozens of Jumbo Screens along the National Mall.
Active in the last 6 Presidential elections, Jason produced all media for Carly Fiorina's Presidential SuperPAC including Citizen Carly - a groundbreaking biographical documentary narrated by Academy Award® Nominee James Woods. The FACES ad was named one of the best ads of the 2016 election by Time Magazine. In 2012, Jason directed all advertising behind the Sheldon Adelson-backed Super PAC Winning Our Future including writing and directing the documentary The King of Bain. NBC's Chuck Todd called it "Game-Changing" and the New Yorker dubbed it "the Apocalypse Now of the Super PAC era." The film generated more earned media than anything else before it, and Jason became known henceforth as the "'Sacramanga' of political operatives."
Jason continues to serve as a media strategist for corporations, political organizations and a producer of political and entertainment projects. He has produced hundreds of political ads, some of which the Wall Street Journal wrote "cracked the democratic playbook."
In the 90’s, Jason helped launch the nation’s first political television network: GOP-TV. Jason worked under RNC Chairman Haley Barbour during an historic time in American politics -- the 1994 election tsunami that changed the balance of power in Congress. Jason also served as Creative Director for national television coverage of the 1996 Republican National Convention.
In the 00’s, Jason was Partner with The Stevens & Schriefer Group. In 2004, he was a member of the Maverick Media team -- the inner circle that produced all message strategy and advertising for President George W. Bush's presidential campaigns. In 2008, he was part of Governor Mitt Romney’s campaign for President creating ads for the campaign in the Republican Primary.
In 2014, Jason wrote and directed Rocky Mountain Heist (NewsmaxTV) with Michelle Malkin -- an investigative documentary detailing the political transformation of Colorado. He has also written and directed several other award-winning documentary films including Fast Terry and The Surge: The Untold Story (Military Channel, PBS). Jason was also co-creator, writer and director for the award-winning television series The Feds (Discovery Channel).
Jason is author of two books Hollywood on the Potomac (Arcadia 2009) and a children’s book he co-wrote with his son called The Pepperoni Palm Tree (Fuze Publishing 2012). Jason is a frequent guest lecturer and writer on various topics related to media, entertainment and politics.
